Successful events start early… register now for Women’s Golf Day!

When people ask us how to host a successful WGD event, the first thing we always say is start planning and promoting your event early! The locations that have dozens and often hundreds of participants start promoting their event as early as February…

Here are some other ways to make your event a success in 2018:

  • Create options for beginners and experienced players to clearly communicate that all are welcome to participate in Women’s Golf Day.
  • Offer discounts on drinks, food, and future rounds of golf. This is especially effective for new players and first-time visitors.
  • Have a contest to giveaway prizes and/or benefit your non-profit partner. This will add financial and emotional value to your event.
  • Find local businesses to participate. Most small businesses are eager to get in front of a captive audience and will either participate, sponsor, or help with the networking part of your event.
  • Prepare your staff to be on the look out for and help first-time visitors to your location and new players. This can make all the difference between a one-time visitor and a lifetime customer!
  • Create a strong WGD profile. This will create less work for you in the long run and show individuals that you are ready and excited for them to attend.
  • Promote your event on your website, social media, email marketing, and on location. We have a marketing toolkit to help you do exactly that.
  • Partner with an active non-profit organization to increase awareness for a good cause, cross promote on their marketing channels, and add value to your event by supporting a good cause. Win-win!
